Christmas Jammies

We have this amazing Grandma, who makes all 25 of her grandkids jammies every Christmas.  They are so darling and the girls look so forward to getting them every year.  This year, she brought the fabric with her to Singapore when she visited, and made them here.  Talk about planning ahead!

More pics are on the way... I am just way too busy being lazy and enjoying doing things with the girls while they are out of school.  But I'll get to it, eventually!

Two Teeth Short

Alton took a nasty fall on the kitchen floor. This is the result. Bye Bye baby teeth. Guess He has to get used to no front teeth, it'll be a while before He has them again.

BIIIGGG Sage!!

Well I took her to her 2 month appt. today and she is 24 1/2 inches long. That is the average length of a 5 month old. She weighs 12lbs 12 oz, that is double her birth weight. She had double ear infections got 3 shots and has a nasty cough and congestion. But no one would even know because she is an angel and still has slept perfectly, infact last night I fed her at 8:30 and she woke up at 8:45 this morning!! I love her!! (sad that this is the best most recent picture of her, I guess that is what 5 kids does to you).

my new blog

HI fam,
I have decided to start a blog.  It is going to be my journal/family history for now.  The site is thestevensbunch.com  after The Brady Bunch, since that is the girls fav. show.  Spen and Graham helped me set it up.  Thanks guys, you are quite the techies!!
Love you all so much!  We are off to Thailand this evening for fall break.  We'll send pics when we get back.  Give the babies kisses for us.  Take a big whif inside of their mouths for me!  Squeeze their thumbs and kiss their cheeks.  That's what I would be doing.  Also, don't forget to spend lots of time sitting, holding and snuggling them.  They aren't getting any smaller!
Talk soon!
here is the link for my blog.  Click on this and it will take you there.   thestevensbunch.com

Owen Jory

Here is our little guy!
Owen Jory Norton
5 lbs. 2 oz.
17 inches
Born Sunday, August 22 at 8:58 p.m.

No, this is not Mandy posting these!
Do you really think she knows how to blog???
(it's her friend Amanda)

As far as I know Owen was taken off the ventilator this afternoon and has been doing pretty good. He just needs more time for his lungs to develop more and get stronger. I'm sure there's lots more information I could give you but I will most likely explain it wrong. Everyone probably knows all of this already but Mandy didn't tell me what to say.

I went in and took some pictures for those of you who aren't close by and haven't been able to meet this little guy. He is a fighter and so cute! He kinda looks like a little old man! (Hopefully Mandy won't hate me for sayin' that but he does, really most newborns do.)

Other than needing a little more time under the bili-lights and breathing on his own more to strengthen those lungs, he's absolutely perfect!

Meet Owen!

hi All!

Hello to everyone! What's up w/no action. Mandy, thanks for actually responding! I am sorry to hear about your dr. visit. We will definately keep you in our prayers!
It was a national holiday today, Singapores 45th year as an independent country. Like our 4th of July. Spen had work off, so we met some families and took a boat ride to an island and rented bikes and rode around the island. It was so fun! Wished you were all there w us. Especially you mom and dad, you would have loved it! We are doing well. Hoping our shipment comes this week. THe kids all have insta friends. It has been so nice. Ava said today, I don't want to be in SIngapore, I want to go to nan and pop's. She has been grouchy and whiny. I know it's alot of adjusting for her. Mardeen has been great, so helpful, and such a good sport about everything. She loved the biking today. We love having her here.
I love you all and hope to have a phone # to give you soon!

Hi from Singapore

Hi to all my cute fam! It's 4am and stel and ave are up w more energy than you can imagine. They are watching home movies b/c we have no dvd player, no cable tv and no toys. We made the long journey pretty well. Ava was a major pain on the long flight, non stop the whole time, wouldn't watch tv and every ativity I had lasted about 2 minutes and on to the next, didn't fall asleep until only 2 hr away and then woke after an hour in histerics, one man even offered me a antihistamine, said it would knock her out, I was tempted, but a bit disturbed also. I took her potty 5 times and she wet through 2 diapers and pants in the first 3 hrs! She has some serious out
put. THe 2nd flight was much better, we were all so tired and slept most of it. We pulled in to a Welcome Home sign made by the Dayne's. Our first day was spent getting bedding, food, blow dryer and we got a sewing machine! and random stuff to set up a house. THe kids have seen some of their friends, and Becky's baby is darling. Of course we ended up at Ikea. We had to keep waking up the girls, they fell asleep at dinner, in the car, and at Ikea, It was sad, they were so miserable. Ifelt like it was child abuse. Spen is sick, and maybe got a little used to being alone??!! Brit spent the first night and morn crying, she was pretty emotional. I would call right now, but can't find the cell phone. Things will get better! It is so hard for me to be so out of sorts, but patience...it will all come together!
Love you all and miss you already!!

Hi Mom and Dad!

we miss you already. Life just isn't, and won't ever be the same without you both being a part of it! I've cried twice today, it hit me big time when I saw this big picture of you DAD, in the study, I lost it! Ash and I took Abbie on their special little date before we leave. They dressed and did their hair the same and typed up a list of what they wanted to do. Kneaders, Broccoli soup for lunch, shopko for Webkinz, Mcdonalds for dessert and fingers and toenails painted. When Ash and I were driving down the street I said, "WE are making history", this is the type of thing those two cute girls will remember for a Long time! They are so cute and it breaks my heart to separate them again!! Ans had to have major dental work done today. Dr. Gifford was leaving for a fam reunion, so he fit her in for part this morning and the other part this afternoon. That poor little girl has been through it. She is such a trooper. 3 little miracles today...at swimming Pam had Beckham swim when Alton and Ava swam, it made it so we were able to take Abb's and Ans, I had Roo watch me back out today, but as I started forward I had no idea Beckham was on the bike in front of me trying to get Alton's bike away from him, 3rd, Dr. Gifford getting Ans in today! Heavenly Father loves us, and I love you!!!! Joce
